Same Old Sun

Same Old Sun is the new album from Guitarist Rodger Hanna and Lyricist/Poet Alex Law.

Years ago, over a few beers in a pub, we came up with the idea to write a song about all the great times we’d had, all the great people we had them with, and what it meant to us. That led to ‘Dandelion Clock.’ As great ideas often do, it grew arms and legs. The thing is, when you get going and you have something to say, why stop? So here we are with the ‘Same Old Sun’ album-  An upbeat and nostalgic story, recorded in under-stair cupboards, on boats, and sometimes in proper studios with all the good gear! ‘Same Old Sun’ is eleven sharp tracks that take you on an ambient, electronic and sometimes rocky journey, from ‘Tombs and Monuments’ to ‘Dream Sequence,’ through “Lockdown Birdsong’ and finishing up, as many a good night out at the pub does, with a ‘Chicken Korahi.’ Hope you enjoy it - we loved making it.
